Liz has recently joined our team to help expand our Commercial Property department while lending her expertise to our growing Residential Property caseload.

Liz brings over 25 years of legal experience to the firm, having most recently worked at BEST Solicitors, following roles at Wilford Smith and Oxley & Coward, and completing her training contract at Bury & Walkers. But law is actually her second calling! In her former life, she was a general nurse with a globe-trotting career that took her to Malta and Australia, working across gastroenterology, the emergency department, elderly care, gynaecology, and community district nursing.

A proud Barnsley girl born and raised, she is a triple-degree graduate of the University of Sheffield and is excited to bring her blend of legal skill and genuine care to a forward-thinking environment.

Outside the office, you’ll likely find her singing with her choir (who compete both nationally and internationally), diving into a good book club pick, or indulging her inner foodie with a well-earned sweet treat. Above all, she loves life on the open road in her beloved campervan – invariably lounging in a field or exploring the countryside with her family, friends, and three adorable dogs: Pippin, Stanley, and Rhubarb.
